Induction and Turning-over Ceremony 2018 by Manilyn M. Lozada

The Supreme Student Council of Capiz State University-Tapaz Satellite Campus conducted an Induction and Turning-over ceremony on June 25 ,2018, held at CapSU-Tapaz gymnasium. The program was started with the flag rituals conducted by the newly elected SSC officers. The newly designated SSC adviser, Professor Arlene C. Gonzales gave an introductory speech emphasizing the importance of leadership and how they will become effective and efficient youth leaders.

Dr. Ma. Socorro Irmina F. Onapan, CapSU-Tapaz-Satellite College Director, inducted the new SSC officers for the school year 2018-2019. The outgoing SSC President, Mr. John Lebert Gapasinao emotionally delivered his Turn-over speech. He acknowledged people who motivated him and also to his fellow SSC officers who never left him during hard times. Ms. Jazreen Caliliw, the newly inducted SSC President confidently delivered her acceptance speech. She promised to do her best to cope with all the responsibities that Capsunians entrusted her. The program ended with a closing remarks from Dr. Onapan, leaving a challenge to all SSC officers to work hand in hand for the betterment of the school.

Indeed, the event was a success for all student leaders whom solemnly pledge that on that day begins the challenge of being a good leader from this particular organization to a bigger involvement in the society in the near future. And this will become more possible by practicing a good leadership characteristics from their own self.
