Capiz State University Tapaz Satellite Campus celebrated the annual Intramurals last August 29-31,2018.The opening program started with a motorcade with the participation of Education and Agriculture Department with Coaches,muses,officiating officials, faculty and staff also joined the parade. The activity started from San Julian Gym up to Tapaz Municipal Plaza going back to CapSU Gymnasium. Before the program officially start the host Prof.Remia Garde acknowledged the presence of two teams by asking each team to perform their cheers and jingles. Dr. Ma. Socorro Irmina F. Onapan,Satellite College Director formally commenced the ceremonies with few remarks,which was met by a warm round of applause. It was followed by raising of team banners led by Team Captains and Muses. Ms. Ellen Mae Saurnido and R-jean Depacsan were the torchbearer for the ceremonial Torch Run and this symbolizes lighting of flame of friendship and sportmanship.Oath of Amateurism was led by Mary Rose Gimoto,(Student representative), and Prof.Rolly Gimoto,Sports Coordinator. The invited guest,Sangguniang Bayan member Neriza G.San Felix delivered an inspirational message. Right after Dr.Onapan officially declared the opening of Intramural Meet 2018. Ceremonial Toss was executed by Prof. Rolly G. Gimoto and the invited guest SB Member San Felix.This years Intramurals had 8-events in total:Basketball (men and women),Volleyball (men and Women), Chess (men and women),Table Tennis (men and women), Badminton (men and women), Sepak Takraw,All Throwing events and Track and Field.Indeed, intramurals was a great way of showcasing the athletic abilities of Capsunians.

These events highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of each student and how they can improve themeselves in every game that they play.
